Ripe berries and Christmas spice are highlights on the palate. Medium bodied and plush the wine finishes with long, smooth tannin and complex, savoury oak notes.

The nose is abundant with vibrant red fruits supported by subtle hints of French Oak. On the palate, well balanced tannins are intertwined with flavours of black cherries, satsuma plums and mulberries. This all leads to a wine which is full bodied in style with a plush mouthfeel and great length of flavour.

Sourced entirely from vineyards located in Southern Marlborough's spectacular Awatere Valley, this vibrant wine displays aromas of citrus zest and vibrant tropical fruit with notes of fresh spring herbs complemented with hints of orange blossom and lemongrass. Ruby port is all about youthful fruit and flavour intensity, and this port delivers perfectly. The nose is ripe and lifted displaying blackberry, raisin and spice characters. The palate is supple and rich with fine tannins and a lovely warm alcohol finish.
